Former ISU star Grigsby signs with Dolphins

Former Illinois State All-American linebacker Boomer Grigsby has signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins.
Grigsby spent the past three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, who picked him in the fifth round of the 2005 draft.
A special teams performer and reserve linebacker his first two seasons with the Chiefs, Grigsby was converted to fullback for the 2007 season. Miami signed Grigsby as a fullback.

That’s about it. All you Boomer loving fools can shout at me until you’re blue in the face about how amazing Grigsby is, but in reality, the Chiefs will not be hurt in any way by this move. He could have been Carl Peterson’s personal assistant or the team’s official towelboy and I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference other than the fact that they let him wear pads on gameday.
