Prosser, Garriott, McCullough unanimous all-Corn Belt picks
Prosser makes first team for third straight season

For the third straight year, Eureka High School center Jordan Prosser was named to the all-Corn Belt Conference basketball first team, it was announced Monday. | Pantagraph-area all-conference teams

The 6-foot-8 junior, who is being recruited by Iowa, Stanford, Texas A&M, Indiana and Purdue among others, averaged 20.2 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets this season.

Central Catholic point guard Aaron Garriott and University High center Eric McCullough joined Prosser as unanimous selections to the first team.

Garriott, a Southern Illinois-Edwardsville recruit, led the Saints to their third consecutive conference title. The 6-foot-4 senior led the conference in scoring at 20.4 points per game and averaged 5.6 assists.

McCullough scored 13 points per game, made 54 percent of his shots and averaged six rebounds for the Pioneers.

Also included on the first team was Central Catholic junior Tom Norton, who finished fourth in The Pantagraph area with 69 3-pointers.

Olympia junior Matt Frahm, who averaged 15 points per contest, and Rantoul’s Tyler Patterson rounded out the six-member team.
