Police respond to accident near El Paso

EL PASO — Officers are at the scene of a rollover crash along southbound Interstate 39 south of El Paso, police said.

Few details were immediately available in the collision that occurred about 4:35 p.m. near the Mackinaw River Bridge. There were some traffic delays reported, but lanes are open in both directions, police said.

One person was transported to BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, Woodford County sheriff’s police said Thursday evening. No further information was available.
