Kathy Jo Crutcher
NORMAL -- Kathy Jo Crutcher, 55, Normal, died at 11:20 a.m. Monday (April 2, 2008) at her home.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Church of Merna, Bloomington, with the Rev. Gerald T. Ward officiating. Entombment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a prayer service at 8 p.m., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Church of Merna building fund.
Kathy was born May 21, 1952, in Chicago, the daughter of Raymond and Evelyn Sage White. She married Steven Crutcher on March 31, 1973, in Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Wendy Hebel, Bloomington, and Becky (Mark) Kranz, Naperville; two grandchildren, Stephanie Hebel and Adam Kranz; four sisters, Harriet (Bob) Feger, Downs; Martha (Harold) Vaughn, Normal; Carol (Joe) Woith, Kappa; and Linda (Dan) Horine, Normal; two brothers, Raymond (Tina) White, Normal, and Bruce (Marsha Robinson) White, Minier; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathy was a 1970 graduate of Bloomington High School and worked in systems at State Farm Insurance Cos., Bloomington, for more than 25 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Church of Merna, Bloomington, and was very involved at the church. Kathy loved to cook, travel and play bunco. She especially loved being a grandma.
