Wind farms created ZERO additional energy because they REQUIRE continual back-up by traditional power sources causing more power plants to be built, not less - great new source of energy. We have all been paying for WIND on our electric bills in the past year for all of those prohibitively expensive upgrades to the transmission lines. The Wind companies didn't want to pay the real cost - so the utilities have to and they are passing those costs along to you. Wind is making your power bill HIGHER, not Lower. It is creating a need for MORE COAL-fired plants, not less. The renegade members of the County Board should be immediately removed from their positions for their flagrent disregard for laws, rules of order and total disrespect for fellow employees. "
