-- The Extreme defense must contend with a physical force in 6-foot-2, 250-pound Sioux City quarterback Chad Kapanui.

Extreme notes

-- The Extreme is 5-0 against its Eastern Conference rivals and 0-5 against the West.

-- The first 3,000 fans today will receive nylon Extreme draw-string bags, compliments of CM Promotions. Doors open at 6 p.m.

-- A fan bus is being organized for the Extreme’s game on May 31 against RiverCity at Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo. The cost of the trip is $40 per person and includes a game ticket and non-alcoholic beverages. Fans are invited to bring their own food and beverages. The bus will depart U.S. Cellular Coliseum at 3 p.m. and return immediately following the 7 p.m. game between the Eastern Conference rivals. Contact Bryan Bloodworth at (309) 434-2691 to sign-up. The deadline is May 23.

Around the UIF
