Paint scratched on four cars

NORMAL -- There were deep scratches in the paint of four cars in the 1500 block of Vernon Avenue on Wednesday, said a Normal police report.

Burglary — Someone ripped the door from a shed in the 1600 block of West Illinois Street to steal a lawn mower between Aug. 14 and Aug. 24, a Bloomington police report said.

Burglary — An apartment in the 200 block of Robinhood Lane was burglarized Thursday, a Bloomington police report said. Someone stole a gold chain, a gold cross pendant and a purse. There was no sign of forced entry.

Man accused of having cocaine

BLOOMINGTON -- A Bloomington man must post $100,000 to be released on drug-related charges.

Sylvester Woodson, 25, of the 700 block of West Front Street, is accused of unlawful possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver the drug and criminal drug conspiracy.

Marijuana — A Champaign man faces charges related to marijuana possession.

Alex Smith, 18, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of marijuana. He must post $2,000 to be released.

Marijuana — An Iowa man was in court on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver the drug.

Anthony Jordon, 26, was jailed in lieu of posting $2,000.

Theft over $150 — A Bloomington man was charged with taking electronics equipment from Sears at Eastland Mall, Bloomington.

Colby Barnett, 24, of the 2100 block of Todd Drive, was jailed in lieu of posting $500.
