20 under 40 winners named

BLOOMINGTON -- Winners have been announced for The Pantagraph’s 20 Under 40 program, which recognizes 20 people younger than 40 who make a difference in the community, achieve significant career accomplishments and show a likelihood of future success and leadership.
Winners and their jobs are Joel Aalberts, director of marketing and communications, Bloomington Cultural District; Melissa Ash, marketing director, U.S. Cellular Coliseum; Melissa Beaver, director of marketing and communications, Heritage Enterprises; Michelle Becher, general manager, Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites; Jessica Chambers, horticulture coordinator, Illinois State University; Nora Dukowitz, uptown marketing manager, Town of Normal; Lisa Fischer, director of residence life/housing, Eureka College; Dale Hall, vice president and chief actuary, life/health operations, Country Financial; Matt Hawkins, sports marketing manager, Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Also, Nicole Hoffman, branch center manager, Commerce Bank, downtown Bloomington; Kelly Mathy, owner, Kelly’s Bakery & Café/Washington Elementary School fourth-grade teacher; Jennifer McCarron, vice president, Business Builders; Amy Mobley-McFarland, attorney, Mobley Law Office; Tim Moore, principal, Bloomington High School; Ryan O’Connell, financial advisor, Morgan Keegan; Chad Parker, CEO/founder and executive director, Cybernautic Design/Goya Ministries; Sarah Powell, claims attorney, Country Financial; Mark Pritchett, technical analyst, State Farm Insurance Cos.; Derek Story, assistant director, human resources, Illinois State University; and Chris Weittenhiller, associate executive director, YMCA.

The winners were selected by a panel of judges from nearly 70 entries.
