3 killed, teen critically hurt in LaSalle County accident

STREATOR -- Three people died early Sunday and a fourth was critically injured in a single-vehicle accident 12 miles northeast of Streator near Allen Township, LaSalle County sheriff’s police said.

Two males and one female were pronounced dead at the scene by the LaSalle County coroner, the press release said.

Jordan Hill, 23, of Ransom, has been identified as one of the three killed, a press release issued by the sheriff’s department said. The identification of the other two , a man and a woman, were not being released by the LaSalle County coroner’s office. A 15-year-old girl was transported to Morris Hospital and later life-flighted to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, where she was in critical condition.

The crash occurred at 1:33 a.m. Sunday near Allen Township on county highway 39 approximately one-half mile south of North 18th Road. Allen Township EMS and Seneca EMS responded.

According to reports, a Dodge pickup truck traveling south left county highway 39 , entered a ditch and rolled several times. The four occupants were ejected.

The accident remains under investigation. No citations have been issued.
