Bloomington man injured in motorcycle crash

BLOOMINGTON -- A Bloomington man was injured in a traffic accident at 6:15 a.m. Monday at the intersection of MacArthur and Center Streets, a Bloomington police report said.

Barry Carney, 51, who was driving a Honda Nighthawk motorcycle, was taken to BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. His condition is unknown.

Carney was traveling east on MacArthur Street. Leticia Culler, 37, of Mason City, was traveling south in a Chevrolet Cavalier on Center Street and ran a red light, the police report said, striking Carney’s motorcycle.

Culler was cited for disregarding a traffic control signal.
