BLOOMINGTON - Heartland Bank and Trust Co. has introduced a new logo. The bank has updated its logo several times; the previous logo had been used since 1994.

This change was created by Heartland's recent merger with First Federal Bank, which has branches in western Illinois and northeast Missouri. First Federal was purchased by Heartland Bancorp in 2007.

The new logo is similar to the previous logo, and the colors will remain the same. Implementation will be gradual, with changes in branch signs taking place throughout the fall.

Heartland Bank and Trust Co. is an independently owned community bank with assets of $1.4 billion.
