Working on your first novel? Books to Benefit will host a special Writers Event on November 11, from 1-3 p.m. at 360 Wylie Drive, Suite 700 in Normal. Local published authors will answer questions and share their experiences in getting published. Free to the public. 

During the event purchase books at the Book Lovers $5 Bag Sale. Books to Benefit Semiannual UNPICKED Used Book Sale, featuring over 33,000 unpicked books. This premier sale offers the largest selection of books, 33% increase over previous sales. For $5 per bag we supply the bag; you fill the bag with books. Note: Special Collections and specially priced items are not part of the bag sale.

– Preview Sale: Thursday, Nov. 2 from 5 to 8 pm: $5 admission fee per person applies at the preview sale.

– Regular Sale: Friday, Nov. 3 from 10 am to 7 pm

– Regular Sale: Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 am to 4 pm

– Book Lover’s $5 Bag Sale: Sunday, Nov. 5 from noon to 4 pm: $5 per bag. Books to Benefit supplies the bag.

Book sale proceeds benefit STAR Adult Literacy and YouthBuild McLean County's literacy programs. Bake sale funds the Heartland Community College Books to Benefit Community Service Scholarship award.
