CHAMPAIGN - "American Idol" champ Jordin Sparks will bring her spring tour to Central Illinois via the University of Illinois Assembly Hall in Champaign.

Sparks' concert is set for 7:30 p.m. April 25, with tickets, priced at $33, going on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Assembly Hall box office and area Ticketmaster outlets.

Accompanying Sparks will be special guest Flo Rida.

Sparks gained notoriety as the youngest-ever "American Idol" victor when she won the title on the sixth season. Since the win, she has charted three hit singles: "This is My Now," which peaked at No. 15 on Billboard's Hot 100; "Tattoo," which reached No. 8; and her latest single, "No Air," which has reached No. 6.

Rida, a Florida native, began touring as a teenager with Live Crew's Fresh Kid Ice. By 2006 he began popping up on high-profile mix tapes with the likes of DJ Kaheled, Rick Ross, Tricky Daddy, Trina and Dre.

Last year, he recorded his first album, "Mail on Sunday," which produced the hit single, "Low," featuring T-Pain. It is currently the most downloaded song on iTunes and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Rida's latest single "Elevator", featuring Timbaland, was just released and currently sits at No. 4 on the same chart.
