Monster truck event coming to Coliseum

BLOOMINGTON - Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15 for Thunder Slam Monster Truck Motorsport Spectacular, coming Oct. 4 to Bloomington's U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. event are priced from $15 to $28, and are available at the Coliseum box office and area Ticketmaster locations.
Thunder Slam features monster trucks demolishing full-size cars and competing with each other as they race around a special course set up on top of the Coliseum floor.
A pit party from 6 to 7 p.m. will precede the show, with spectators able to meet the drivers, walk the track and have photos taken with the 12-foot-high trucks.
