COVELL - A 20-year-old Mackinaw woman was critically injured in a car-semi trailer truck crash Friday at Covell and Six Points Road.

Lauren Graham was in critical condition Monday at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, a nursing supervisor said.

The semi, owned by Don Loeffler Inc., was south on Covell Road when a car driven by Graham on Six Points Road pulled into its path about 2:30 p.m. Friday, police said earlier.

Sgt. Jon Sandage of McLean County sheriff's police said traffic on Six Points has a stop sign as it crosses Covell Road.

The semi driver was Homer Glenn, 52, Stanford. Police said earlier he was treated and released from BroMenn.

Sandage, accident reconstructionist at the site, said Monday the semi ended up in a field and the car in a ditch. Police were there for about three hours after the crash. Crash details were released Monday.
