BLOOMINGTON — Tim and Lynda Arnold of Bloomington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at Parke Regency Hotel, Bloomington, hosted by their children. The open house will be preceded by a 4 p.m. Mass at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal, and family dinner at Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano, Bloomington. They also plan a Seine River cruise encompassing Paris and Normandy, France, in the spring.
Arnold and Lynda Baird were married Nov. 25, 1967, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bloomington. Their attendants were Denny Arnold and Cathy Watson Crank.
They are the parents of Tim (Stacie) Arnold, Downers Grove; Kevin (Amy) Arnold, McKinney, Texas; Tiffany (John) Reding, Hebron, Ky.; and Kerri (Charlie) Hank, Valparaiso, Ind. They have 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was a stationary engineer at Illinois State University Heating Plant, retiring in 2011. She was an administrative assistant at Clemens and Associates, retiring in 2016.
