CHENOA — Leslie Freehill and Ethan Schwenker, both of Madison, Wis., were married Aug. 27, 2016, at Luther Memorial Church, Madison, Wis.
The bride's parents are Al and Jane Freehill of Chenoa. The groom's parents are Erich and Judy Schwenker, of Fox Point, Wis.
Lynn Freehill-Maye was maid of honor, and Sarah Pitsoulakis, Beth Stay and Emily Toner were bridesmaids. Peter Mikulecky was best man, and Thomas Kinzfogl, Ethan Stark and Paul Freehill were groomsmen. The ushers were Joseph Thomae, Frank Pitsoulakis, Mark Stay and Matthew Maye. The ring bearers were Owen Pitsoulakis and Jack Stay.
The reception was at Orpheum Theater, Madison, Wis., followed by a wedding trip to Cuba.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Prairie Central High School. She earned a bachelor of science in agronomy from Iowa State University in 2009, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2015. She is an attorney at the law firm of Pines Bach.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Whitefish Bay High School. He received a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Minnesota in 2009, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2015. He is an attorney at the firm of Foley & Lardner.
