FAIRBURY - Jayme Zidar of Waukasha, Wis., won the opening night late model feature Saturday at Fairbury American Legion Speedway ahead of Frank Shickel Jr. of Bloomington and Wes Steidinger of Fairbury. | Photo gallery

Heat winners were George Scheffler of Monawake, Wis., Donny Walden of Towanda and Daren Friedman of Forrest. Eric Smith of Shirley won the semi feature and Steidinger was the fastest qualifier.

In the modifieds, McKay Wenger of Fairbury claimed his first feature win at his home track. Tommy Kroll of Chebanse finished second in front of Dave Porth of Gardner.

Heat winners were Jeb Friedman of Forrest, Aaron Ricketts of Fairbury and Dave Porth of Gardner. Dave Sandage of Lexington won the semi feature.

Jimmy Dehm of Lexington took home the top prize in the sportsman feature, followed by Jason Unzicker of El Paso and Darrell Dick of Deland.

Mike Zalaker of Melvin, Justin DeLong of Bloomington and Darrell Dick of Deland won their heat races. Rick Thomas of Dwight won the semi feature.
