Kevin Kirk

NORMAL - U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Kevin J. Kirk has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Kirk earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the brother of Susan Mohr of Normal.

Kirk received a bachelor's degree in 2008 from Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C.

U.S. Navy

Ryan Vandevoorde

WASHINGTON - U.S. Navy Airman Ryan T. Vandevoorde, son of Becky A. Rollins of Victoria and Ronald T. Vandevoorde of Washington, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes.

Vandevoorde is a 2003 graduate of ROWVA High School in Oneida.

Army National Guard

Andrew Stoeber

BLOOMINGTON - Army National Guard Sgt. Andrew J. Stoeber, son of Jerome D. and Virginia E. Stoeber of Bloomington, has completed the Warrior Leader Course at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The course is part of the Army's noncommissioned officer education system.

Stoeber is deployed to Kosovo from a U.S.-based National Guard unit supporting the NATO-led peacekeeping and security mission. He is an armorer with six years of military service.
