Police, fire, rescue

Criminal damage - A car in the 800 block of South Main Streetwas damaged between between 10 p.m. Thursday and 4:30 p.m. Friday, a Normal police report said. The car's roof was slashed, causing an estimated $1,000 damage.

Vehicle burglary - A car in the 1200 block of Windsor Drive was burglarized between 12:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., Saturday, a Normal police report said. A passenger-side window was broken with a rock. A purse, wallet, camera, credit cards, checkbook, and identification cards were stolen. The items have a total estimated value of $727.

Burglary - An apartment in University Court was burglarized between 4 and 9 a.m. Saturday, a Normal police report said. An iPod valued at $300 and $300 in cash were stolen.

Vehicle burglary - A car in the 1500 block of Airport Road was burglarized between 7 and 10 p.m. Friday, a Normal police report said. A window was shattered. A purse, mp3 player, keys, cell phone and identification cards were stolen. The damage and stolen property have a total estimated value of $453.

Vehicle burglary - A car in the 1200 block of George Drive was burglarized Oct. 11 between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m., a Normal police report said. A briefcase and credit cards with a total estimated value of $325 were stolen.

Criminal damage - Someone slashed three tires of a jeep in the 400 block of West Vernon Avenue Oct. 11 between 3 a.m. and 10 a.m., a Normal police report said.

Criminal damage - A male juvenile shot a bb gun at a car in the 900 block of West Market Street Oct. 11 at 5:35 p.m., a Normal police report said. The pellets broke a side window and a windshield causing $300 in estimated damage.

Burglary - A shed in the 1200 block of Theta Street was burglarized Aug. 29, a Bloomington police report said. A lawn mower and a leaf blower were stolen.

Criminal damage - A bus sustained damage in the 1500 block of South Main Street on Oct. 6, a Bloomington police report said. The seats of the bus were slashed, causing $300 in damage. A fire extinguisher was found next to the bus door with the top knocked off. The bus is owned by Checker Cab Co.
