DELAVAN - A Green Valley woman died early Sunday when her car rolled over north of Delavan.

Taunya D. Schreiber, 41, was pronounced dead at the intersection of Delavan and Hilst roads about 2:10 a.m. The crash was discovered by an off-duty deputy shortly after it occurred.

A preliminary autopsy showed Schreiber died almost instantly from head and chest injuries. She had been wearing a seat belt and was extricated by workers from the Hopedale and Delavan fire departments.

Tazewell County Coroner Dennis Conover said an inquest will be at a later date. Assisting at the scene were Hopedale and Delavan police and fire departments and the Tazewell County Sheriff's Office.
