CLINTON - A double-fatal crash Monday morning in Champaign claimed the lives of Jeffery Pister, 40, Clinton, and Brian Stultz, 29, Swanton, Ohio, said Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup in a statement.

Pister was pronounced dead at 6:46 a.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, and Stultz at 6:54 a.m. at the scene. Pister was driving a Jeep Wrangler and the other motorist a Honda Civic when a crash occurred in Champaign, the coroner said.

Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements for Pister.
