BLOOMINGTON - Four juveniles were arrested early Monday after an attempted burglary at the Sport & Bait tavern, 304 N. Morris Ave., Bloomington police said.

Police received a report at 12:02 a.m. Monday of a burglary at the business. Nothing was listed as missing from the shop.

The four tried to run from the scene, but were caught in a police perimeter, said police spokesman Duane Moss.

There was damage to a door and the drive-up window was broken where customers buy liquor. Three of the youths were 16 and the other one was 15, said Moss.

One was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center; the other three were released to their parents. The cases will be handled in juvenile court.
