BLOOMINGTON - A man armed with a silver handgun robbed two women of their purses at 8:14 p.m. Monday outside apartments at 2415 E. Washington St., said Bloomington police.

The suspect was described as a black male, five feet five inches tall, slight build, wearing black sweatshirt, black jeans and his face was covered.
