BLOOMINGTON - They scamper, they scurry. They're the meerkats of Miller Park Zoo. Watch these cute cousins of the mongoose as they go about their daily lives. | Watch the 'Kat Cam
The zoo, in conjunction with Pantagraph.com, is launching a live 'Kat Cam to help promote the zoo's fund-raising event, Zoo-Do, which will raise money for a new Sumatran Tiger exhibit.
The camera can be seen at www.pantagraph.com/katcam. Live pictures will update during zoo hours.
Zoo-Do will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Miller Park Zoo and Pavilion in Bloomington.
Tickets are $60 (adults only please), and include dinner, dancing to the beat of Steely Pan and bidding on unique auction items, including artwork created by Miller Park Zoo animals.
