NORMAL - A fight that broke out right after two boys exited a Unit 5 school bus Thursday led to an arrest for the older boy, police said.
The bus driver called Normal police about 4:15 p.m. Thursday to Rockingham Drive and Raab Road in north Normal.
A 14-year-old boy pushed an 11-year-old boy to the sidewalk and then ran away, police said. The older boy was arrested a short time later and will face charges through the juvenile court system, police said.
There was no fight aboard the Unit 5 bus, but the bus was delayed for a few minutes while the driver waited for police, police said.
Neither boy needed medical treatment.
