SECOR - A woman injured Tuesday when a pickup truck hit a parked Illinois Department of Transportation vehicle remained in critical condition Friday at a Peoria hospital.
Cher Schuman, 61, was a passenger in a truck driven by Elmer Schuman, 62, of East Peoria. He was driving west on U.S. 24 at Woodford County 2325 East Road when his truck struck the IDOT vehicle parked on the west shoulder of the road, said state police.
Emergency lights were activated on the state vehicle.
Elmer Schuman was injured but has been released from OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, where Cher Schuman was listed in critical condition, said a hospital spokeswoman.
IDOT driver Richard Weuthrich and his passenger Terry Lehman, both of Secor, were not injured.
