DWIGHT - A Pontiac motorcyclist was killed late Thursday after a collision with a sport utility vehicle in front of the Dwight Correctional Center.

Livingston County Coroner Mike Burke identified the victim as Brian D. Lipe, 32, of Pontiac. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A statement from Burke's office said Lipe was driving west on Illinois 17 when the motorcycle was hit by the eastbound SUV. The crash is being investigated by Illinois State Police.
