Public Safety for Oct. 10
McLEAN - An air compressor, chainsaw, drill, power saw, a 30 pack of beer, some ribs and Popsicles were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from the garage of a residence in the 100 block of East Elm Street, McLean County sheriff's police said.
Burglary - A laptop computer, wall clock, camera, lottery ticket and six gift cards were stolen Sunday in a burglary of a residence in the 400 block of North Main Street, Normal police said.
Vandalism - Rocks were thrown at the entrance to Miller Park Zoo, 1020 S. Morris Ave., on Wednesday or early Thursday, damaging three large glass windows, Bloomington police said.
Burglary - A purse with wallet, credit card and keys was stolen between 7:10 and 7:12 a.m. Wednesday from the floorboard of a car at a day care center at 409 Kays Drive, Normal police said.
Burglary - Two video game systems, cash, three laptop computers, and two MP3 players were stolen Sunday from a fraternity house in the 400 block of West Willow Street, Normal police said.
Vandalism - All windows were broken in a car Saturday in the 1300 block of South Main Street, Normal police said.
Burglary - Eight pints of beer, 28 prescription painkiller tablets and a large duffle bag were stolen sometime between Sept. 27 and Oct. 3 at a residence in the 700 block of North Adelaide Street, Normal police said.
Burglary - A black and red bass drum and five cymbals were stolen Wednesday from a vehicle in the 500 block of South Main Street, Normal police said.
Burglary - Four textbooks, cash and a backpack were stolen Saturday through Monday from a car in the 300 block of East Vernon Avenue, Normal police said.
BLOOMINGTON - A Bloomington man was jailed in lieu of posting $300 on charges of retail theft, a subsequent offense.
Otis Bradley, 53, of the 300 block of Riley Drive, is accused of taking a hat from Gordman's.
Weapons - A man from Normal faces a charge of unlawful use of a weapon and drug-related offenses.
Bo Ledford, 18, of the 100 block of West Raab Road is accused of unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was jailed in lieu of posting $500.
