BLOOMINGTON - A full-grown horse was on the loose in Bloomington on Wednesday afternoon, though police said they were able to corral the animal on the east side after about half an hour.
The horse was first spotted in the 1000 block of South Morris Avenue just before 4 p.m., police said. Police tracked the horse down and had it under control in the 1000 block of Rheinthaler Drive by around 4:30 p.m., police said.
It was not immediately clear who owns the horse, and animal-control officials have been contacted, police said.
