IOWA CITY, Iowa - Four people, including three Illinoisans, have been charged in an online prostitution sting in Iowa City.
Iowa City police say an undercover officer met 21-year-old Heather Brown of Rock Island at an area hotel after being contacted after viewing an online solicitation. Brown was later charged with prostitution but hasn't been arrested.
Samuel Scott, 47, of Davenport, Iowa, was arrested and charged with pimping after police say he drove Brown to appointments and collected the money she earned.
Kathleen McFadden, 20, and Lisa Nolker, 26, both of Springfield, were charged with prostitution after police say they posted an ad for "encounters" on Craigslist and met an undercover officer at a local hotel.
McFadden and Nolker also are being sought.
