STONE PARK - Authorities in the Chicago suburb of Stone Park are investigating the stabbing of three people in a tavern brawl that was followed by a fatal hit-and-run crash.

Emergency personnel were called to the Nitro Nightclub shortly after midnight Thursday when a brawl spilled outside into the street and the three people were stabbed, Stone Park Fire Department Lt. Chris Soda said.

Several minutes after the stabbings, an auto ran down two people, Soda said. One of them, 18-year-old Galissa Brown of the far southwestern Chicago suburb of Sheridan, was pronounced dead a short time later at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.

Soda says three males and two females were also taken to Loyola in critical condition.
