Bulk tanker trailer reported stolen

BLOOMINGTON - Someone stole a bulk tanker trailer from the 1500 block of Circle Avenue between noon Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, a Bloomington police report said.

Burglary - A 35-year-old woman who invited two men to her motel room on Trader's Circle in Normal found her laptop computer stolen, Normal police said.

The woman said she met the two at a tavern in Bloomington; her laptop was stolen about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Theft - A $500 Coach handbag with $4, various IDs, and $205 in Coach purse accessories was stolen after it was accidentally left in a room at the Student Services Building on the Illinois State University campus Thursday, ISU police said.

Man accused of marijuana sales

BLOOMINGTON - A homeless man was jailed in lieu of $3,000 on charges that he possessed marijuana with intent to deliver the drug.

Sedrick Postlewaite, 33, also is accused of possessing marijuana, a subsequent felony, on Nov. 15.

Marijuana - A 38-year-old man from Normal faces charges of unlawful possession of marijuana, a subsequent felony.

Jerry Sims, of the 1400 block of South Madison Street, also is charged with obstruction of justice by allegedly putting a bag of marijuana in a trash can after running from police. He was jailed in lieu of posting $2,000.

Aggravated DUI - A Joliet man accused of drunken driving while his license was suspended or revoked was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison.

Harold Melton, 41, was arrested on the charges in November 2007. A charge of driving while intoxicated was dismissed as part of a plea agreement. He was given credit for 219 days served in jail.

Drugs - A Chicago man was jailed in lieu of posting $25,000 on charges that he sold drugs near a church.

Errol D. Moore, 19, is accused of unlawful delivery of cocaine four times in October.

Drugs - A man from Normal faces charges that he sold a look-alike substance.

Darrail J. Harris, 27, of the 800 block of North Fell Avenue, was jailed in lieu of posting $3,000.

DUI - A Downs man was jailed in lieu of posting $750 on aggravated drunken-driving charges.

Matthew Rouse, 22 is accused of driving while intoxicated Tuesday and driving while his license was revoked, a subsequent felony.

Resisting - A Lemont woman is accused of grabbing her steering wheel and refusing to leave her car during an arrest on drug charges.

Nadine F. Rauch, 38, faces charges of resisting a peace officer and unlawful possession of a controlled substance following the incident Tuesday. She was jailed in lieu of posting $1,000.
