NORMAL - Representatives from Comcast Corp. will address the Normal City Council at its meeting at 7 p.m. Monday.
The action comes after council members and some residents complained about changes in the company's basic cable lineup during a hearing on an annual request by Comcast to be allowed to increase the basic-cable fee.
Comcast officials have said moving six channels from basic to digital-only channels is part of an industrywide move toward digital. One analog channel takes up the same amount of room at about a dozen digital channels.
The meeting will take place in the council chambers at Normal City Hall, 100 E. Phoenix Ave.
