Tech-related girls conference Saturday

NORMAL - The 18th annual Expanding Your Horizons conference will be Saturday at Illinois State University. Girls between fifth and 10th grades will explore math, science, and technology-related careers through workshops, interactive displays, and speakers. The workshops will be led by local and regional women professionals from exciting careers including space exploration, computer graphics, and forensic science.

Conference attendance has ranged from 200 to 900 students, with more than 500 students attending the first year.

Fee is $25, which includes lunch, a snack, an EYH bag, and a T-shirt. To register, visit www.eyh.ilstu.edu.
