Woman attacked; purse taken

NORMAL -- A woman attacked a 21-year-old Bloomington woman in the 800 block of West Hovey Avenue on Sunday morning, a Normal police report said. At about 3:15 a.m., the assailant punched the victim, cutting her forehead, and tearing her shirt, police said. The victim's purse and iPhone were taken, the report said. She declined medical treatment.

Burglaries -- Visitor Center of Comlara Park, 13001 Recreation Area Drive, Hudson, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, camera; Contemporary Obstetrics & Gynecology PC, 2304 Stern Drive, Bloomington, 3:54 a.m., Sunday, two computer monitors, a laptop computer and a desktop computer.
