DELAVAN - One person was killed in a single-truck crash Friday morning on Interstate 155 near Delavan, state police at Germantown Hills said.

A flatbed tow truck driven by Richard L. Rudy, 58, of Danville was traveling south on I-155 at Milepost 12 when it left the roadway about 11 a.m. and overturned, police said. Rudy was pronounced dead at the scene by Tazewell County Coroner Dennis Conover.

An autopsy is scheduled for this morning.

The Illinois State Police continues to investigate the crash. The Tazewell County Sheriff's Department and the Hopedale Fire and Rescue Department assisted at the scene.
