PIPER CITY - A 60-year-old Piper City man was dead early Thursday morning at the scene of a one-car, rollover crash between Gilman and Piper City, state police at Ashkum said.

Gregory C. Regnier was headed west on Ford County Road 110 East when he drove onto the right shoulder, lost control and went into the left ditch at U.S. 24, police said. The crash was reported at 2:10 a.m. Thursday.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown into the rear seat of the car.
