Man accused of
sexual molestation
LeROY - A LeRoy man is accused of sexual exploitation of a child and criminal sexual abuse.
Larry Brink II, 27, is accused of molesting a child younger than 13 years old.
He was jailed in lieu of posting $3,000.
Cocaine - A Bloomington man is accused of selling cocaine several times during the past three months.
Chester Hoskin, 29, of the 500 block of Marlin Drive, is charged with six counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and one count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and drug possession.
Hoskin allegedly sold cocaine to confidential police sources in June, July and September.
He was jailed in lieu of posting $20,000.
Burglary - A Bloomington man faces a charge of burglary after police said he broke into a car Thursday.
David Goodwin, 24, of the 600 block of West Washington Street, was jailed in lieu of posting $1,500.
Sex offender - A Bloomington man was jailed in lieu of posting $5,000 on a charge of violation of sex offender registry requirements.
Rachod Thompson, 23, of the 100 block of North Hersey Road, is accused of violating the registry rules from May 13 to Sept. 4.
Burglary - A Bloomington man was charged with a burglary after an incident Tuesday.
Jackson Frost, 17, of the 9000 block of North Western Avenue, was jailed in lieu of posting $500.
Aggravated battery - A man faces charges after police said he fought with officers at a safety checkpoint Saturday on Main Street at Orlando Avenue, Normal.
Ricardo V. Wilder, 26, of Chicago was jailed in lieu of posting $1,000.
He is charged with aggravated battery, resisting an officer and possession of marijuana.
Police reports indicate Wilder resisted officers during the check of motorists on Main, sending one sheriff's deputy to the emergency room for stitches. One bag each of marijuana and cocaine were found in his possession, police said.
Sex offender - Melissa A. Witt, 26, of Lexington, is charged with being a sex offender living too close to a school.
She is accused of lying to police about her residence, providing two false addresses.
McLean County sheriff's police said an investigation showed Witt lives in a home less than 500 feet from Lexington Elementary School.
She was jailed in lieu of posting $2,500.
She already was released on bond for charges of failing to register her address.
Obstruction of justice - A Minneapolis, Minn., man was jailed on charges of obstructing justice.
Normal Police responding to a domestic dispute about 10:50 p.m. Saturday found Charles O. Beasley, 35, who was wanted on a Minnesota warrant for a weapons charge. Beasley reportedly gave police a false name to avoid arrest.
He was jailed in lieu of posting $500.
Burglary - Timothy J. Stremlau, 29, of the 100 block of South State Street, and Abraham E. Moses, 25, of the 200 block of West Oakland Avenue, both in Bloomington, each face charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools.
They were jailed in lieu of posting $900.
They are accused of breaking into Times Past Inn, Bloomington, at 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
Attack - A 35-year-old bicyclist on Constitution Trail near Vernon Avenue was hit about 1 p.m. Sunday by four male juveniles, Normal police said.
The juveniles asked for $5, but got nothing, police said. The victim, who told police he was unhurt, rode his bike to Normal's police department to report what happened.
Burglary - A purse with money and children's and baby clothes were stolen Monday from a residence in the 300 block of East Marquis Street, Bellflower, McLean County sheriff's police said.
Burglary - Two necklaces -one with a cross and the other with praying hands and boxing gloves - were stolen Monday from a home in the 700 block of South Towanda Avenue, Normal police said.
