BLOOMINGTON - A Bloomington man was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the January 2007 armed robbery of a woman whose throat was cut during the assault.
Reginald Woods, 37, of the 200 block of North Allin Street was convicted of injuring the woman after taking illegal drugs from her at knifepoint. He received a 50-year sentence for armed robbery for taking her cell phone and concurrent sentences of 50 years for armed violence and 10 years for aggravated battery in connection with the offense.
Woods was given credit for 477 days served in jail.
