BLOOMINGTON - A man is in custody on charges that he took five bottles of liquor at knifepoint Sunday from a Bloomington restaurant.
According to police reports, a man entered Fiesta Ranchero, 1500 E. Empire St., at 11 a.m. Sunday through the back door. He picked up a knife and took "an armload of alcohol," according to police reports.
The man was arrested after he returned to the business shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday. Police found him walking a short distance from the restaurant.
The 23-year-old suspect is expected in court on armed robbery charges. The Pantagraph does not name suspects until they've been charged in court.
