CHATSWORTH - A Chatsworth teenager faces seven criminal counts after he allegedly pointed an air gun at a few people and threatened their lives.
Pedro Garcia Jr., 17, was arrested at his home Friday by Livingston County Sheriff's Police. Police said Garcia was driving around town and making threats to at least two people while pointing what appeared to be a handgun, court reports said.
Police obtained a search warrant and found 74 grams of cannabis, a small amount of cocaine, an air rifle and air handgun.
He is charged with unlawful possession of 30 to 500 grams of cannabis; possession of a controlled substance (cocaine); two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; two counts of aggravated assault; and one count of disorderly conduct for beating on a door and demanding entrance into a residence, reports said.
The drug possession charges are Class 4 felonies. The paraphernalia and assault charges are all Class A misdemeanors. Disorderly conduct is a Class C misdemeanor.
Garcia posted $1,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 28.
