BLOOMINGTON — Downtown Bloomington is already decked out. On the east side along Airport and G.E. roads, white lights invite you to the lights and delights of the holiday season.
In fact, part of the fun and tradition of this time of year is loading up the kids and the grandparents into the family van and driving around to see all the Christmas lights.
Early indications are it could be a "bumper" crop this year.
And, once again, The Pantagraph is going to try to help you find your way.
Columnist Bill Flick, as he has for 20 years, is taking names and addresses and checking them twice, and as the season wears on, hopes to amass a list of the "best-dressed" homes in Central Illinois.
The information will be published in The Pantagraph and on Pantagraph.com and include an online map of the lights and sites to see to make your December travels with family and clan even easier.
Do you know of a home or a street so nicely decorated, in town or out and about in area towns, that it should get a mention?
Then don't hesitate to send the address(es) to Flick at email@example.com. If you can, attach a picture (.jpgs preferred).
In the meantime, be safe climbing up to those eaves troughs of eventual glow.
The season's best!
