BLOOMINGTON - Work will begin today on the resurfacing of Main and Center streets, from Lafayette Street in Bloomington to Raab Road in Normal.

The project includes pavement patching, pavement surface removal and adding hot-mix asphalt. Daily lane closures are expected.

Work by Rowe Construction Co. should be done by mid-November. The state is paying for the $5.5 million project.
