With technology moving forward, it's necessary periodically to evaluate how we package and present news and advertising information. Today, we're happy to welcome you to a new Web site for Pantagraph.com.

The new design is the result of more than three years of work by Lee Enterprises, parent of The Pantagraph, to standardize presentation across the company. The goal is to make navigation easier, to provide local businesses with better tools for reaching their customers, and to enrich the news with additional content.

Pantagraph.com was last redesigned in October 2006, and that design has served us well as we built our audience to more than 8 million monthly page views and expanded our use of video and databases to provide our readers with a positive experience.

With the new site, our commitment to being the first and best source of local news and information continues. Our practice of posting news as it happens will continue, as will reader comments, photo presentations, local video and all the rest.
