Normal outlines holiday schedule

NORMAL - Household garbage pick-up for Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving will take place as usual. City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Bus system, office closed for holiday

BLOOMINGTON - Bloomington-Normal Public Transit System will not operate bus service on Thanksgiving Day and the office will be closed for the holiday.

Road closures

NORMAL - North Street, between Fell Avenue and Broadway, will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. Tuesday until 4 p.m. Wednesday for removal of a tower crane at a construction site.

North Street, between Fell Avenue and School Street, will be closed to through traffic Monday for work at the Watterson Food Court. Access to parking areas and businesses will be available from School Street.
