BLOOMINGTON — A Bloomington man was sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in an April armed robbery of a woman at gunpoint.

Avias White, 18, 600 block of West Front Street, and three other teens were accused of robbing a Normal home of electronics, jewelry and guns while armed with a handgun.

Two co-defendants pleaded guilty and have been sentenced; charges are pending against a third.
