Gunman takes man's wallet

BLOOMINGTON - Bloomington police are searching for an armed robbery suspect.

A man reported told police he was robbed by a man who had a gun and who demanded his wallet about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of West Walnut Street.

Burglaries - Residential: 700 block of Golfcrest Road, Normal, Monday, computer, jewelry, cash, camera; 200 block of Lindell Avenue, Normal, Monday, televisions, computer, electronic equipment and cash.

Fairbury teen accused of break-in

FAIRBURY - A Fairbury teenager was charged with burglary after police in Pontiac discovered someone with a flashlight in a business early Sunday morning.

Thomas May, 17, was jailed in lieu of posting $500 on one count of burglary filed in Livingston County Circuit Court.

Police said an officer noticed a flashlight inside the business Lots of Stuff, 425 W. Madison St., at 1 a.m. Sunday. May and a 15-year-old juvenile were discovered inside, police said.
