PONTIAC -- A 23-year-old man is accused of throwing a baby into a crib, breaking its thigh bone.
Corey Melvin, who listed addresses in both Pontiac and Strawn, is charged with aggravated battery of a child, a Class X felony.
Livingston County court records said Melvin "knowingly violently propelled the child into the child's crib" Monday night or Tuesday morning, fracturing the baby's femur.
Melvin is jailed in lieu of $10,000 bond.
