BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington police are investigating the Tuesday night robbery of a food delivery worker.

Both the Bloomington and Normal police departments were called to the 200 block of West Division Street around 7:52 p.m. and learned that the employee was approached by a man and pushed to the ground. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and a chicken dinner. He fled on foot.

There were no injuries reported or weapons displayed, said police.

The suspect is described as a black man, around 30 years old, with short hair or a bald head; he is around 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build.
